Italy is seeking to have transhumance, the traditional herding of livestock along centuries-old migration routes, added to Unesco's list of intangible cultural heritage. Italy submitted the bid with the backing of Greece and Austria, the Italian Ministry of Agriculture announced on Tuesday.
